The City of Manning is accepting sealed bids for a fast attack pumper/rescue utility fire apparatus. These bids are for the current Assistance to Firefighters Grant process. The bids are for budgetary purposes at this time and will be utilized in the application process that is now underway. The purpose of the process is to replace our current aged vehicle. The new vehicle will operate as a fast attack pumper as well as a light rescue unit. All interested parties must submit a monetary quote as well as their design specifications fitting the general parameters listed with this announcement. Proposals are to be based on new builds, demo vehicles or existing pre-built units. No used or remounted vehicles will be considered.
